Playing with emotion on his sleeve, Lord Huron captivated the audience with his angelic tones at the Vic Theater. A combination of folk, rock and roll and pop just to name a few, Lord Huron sounds like a soulful mix of Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver that you can’t help but be drawn to. Half way through his set, the artist left the stage briefly to return wearing a skeleton mask and cowboy hat, which fans have noted as symbolism for a ‘psychonaut’ whom blurs the lines of life and death through psychedelics.
Ending the night with his hit song of over a billion Spotify streams ‘The Night We Met,’ fans swayed in unison at the emotionally rich song.
If you’re looking for a reason to shed a tear or belt along to some harmonic songs, we highly recommend catching Lord Huron on his continuing tour around Canada and the US through late August, here.
