Hailing from the city of Peoria in central Illinois, The Brother Brothers played to a packed house opening for Dead Horses at The Old Town School of Folk Music in Lincoln Park. A water pipe had burst at the original venue in Ravenswood, so the show got relocated to Old Town School of Folk’s more intimate venue.
Made up of twin brothers Adam and David Moss, you could feel the family chemistry between the two. Despite only having two members in the band, the two had powerful harmonies that gave you chills. Switching off between a cello, violin and guitar, the sound was warm and calming adding to the intimate venue charm. Although they gave off quiet personalities, they still cracked some great jokes. Their sound was perfect for a calm but snowy Friday night. For fans of light and warm folk music, The Brother Brothers is one to not miss the next time they are in town!
