The New York duo of Overcoats swept through Chicago last week and left fans in awe. Having not seen the band before and having released YOUNG less than a year ago, I was curious to see how strong their fan base was in Chicago. I quickly received my answer as the crowd started dancing within the first 3 beats of their opening song. The girls were sweet with the crowd and their perfectly synced voices commanded the attention of the entire venue. The set was polished, and I was impressed with how they were able to create just the right float time between notes in unison.
