Subterranean was tightly packed as Lo Moon came on stage Saturday night. I’m not used to seeing so many people at the venue so early, but this gave Lo Moon a great opportunity to show off their musical prowess. Having only heard the band’s sprawling single “Loveless,” I was completely blown away by the dept of their sound. The band played for about 35 minutes, and I was struck not only by how crisp they sounded, but how effortlessly they created dreamy melodies that paired well with their harmonized vocals. I think the band definitely accrued some new followers that night. Well done, Lo Moon! We hope to see you again soon.
