Last Monday Billy Changer and EZTV took over the stage at Schubas Tavern, and Chicago Music News landed a front row spot!
Opening act Billy Changer blew my mind with their performance. The band kept the crowd captivated throughout their set with their underground, alternative pop sound. Fans seemed impressed by their set list and the way the band channeled their energy through their instruments. I was able to catch up with band afterward the show, and they said that they are anxious to get back home and start recording their album.
EZTV put on a great show, playing mostly tracks off their “Calling Out” album. They also treated us to some new tracks that we can look forward to in their upcoming album “High in Place”. Everyone in the crowd started gathering near the stage and enjoyed the delightful atmosphere set by EZTV. Overall it was a very enjoyable night, cant wait to catch these guys again next time they stop by Chicago!
