After the Tame Impala plagiarism story had already gone viral on the internet, the original writers  confessed that they wrote it jokingly at a party and didn’t mean to antagonize Tame Impala.  The whole thing, however, got the attention of Pablo Ruiz who now thinks Tame Impala truly did steal from him.  He is even contemplating taking legal action.
